Those of you who know me will know that I like to drastically change the colour of my hair quite regularly! I've tried blonde, pink, lilac, peach, blue, and most recently grey. This calls for me needing to invest in products to really protect and repair my hair. My hair is naturally quite thin and weak so I need to really look after it to prevent it drying out and breaking. After trialling many products, I've narrowed them down to these four products that I would recommend!
Two products are under $30 and two are over, so you can grab one for yourself no matter what your budget might be!
Loreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil - $21.99
This contains 6 precious flower oils, so you can just imagine how good this smells! It is very multi-purpose as it can be used in a few ways.
- Use root to tip through damp hair before shampooing as an intense treatment.
- Use on damp hair through mid-lengths and ends to protect and smooth before drying
- Use sparingly on dry hair to smooth ends and control frizz
Schwartzkopf Extra Care Deep Repair Extreme Serum - $11.99
This is a concentrated serum that works to repair damaged hair. The formula feels light and non greasy, and helps to smooth and detangle my hair. Apply it through damp hair on the mid-lengths and ends.
Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector - $49
This is a pre-shampooing treatment that is used once a week to strengthen your hair. It is part of a really great system available at professional hair salons, and this is the only take home product in the range. A definite favourite of mine.
Redken Extreme Anti-Snap - $35
I use this every single time I wash my hair, it has been amazing for protecting my hair and helping to prevent split ends. I put it from root to tip on my hair before drying it off, and it never feels heavy or greasy.
